What to know: No. 11-ranked Oklahoma is a 4 1/2-point favorite.
This marks the teams’ first meeting in 19 years. OU leads the series, 2-1.
Iowa advanced with a 92-57 rout over Murray State, holding the Racers to a season-low in points.
Ava Heiden led the Hawkeyes with 15 points, 13 in the first half. In the last four games, Heiden has scored 42 points in 49 minutes.
Lucy Olsen added 12 points and 12 assists, and Iowa set a program record for assists in an NCAA tournament game, with 28.
Oklahoma followed with an 81-58 victory over Florida Gulf Coast, pulling away in the fourth quarter. Raegan Beers, a 6-foot-4 transfer from Oregon State, led the Sooners with 25 points and 18 rebounds; Skylar Vann added 24 points.
Sooners Coach Jennie (Lillis) Baranczyk played at Iowa from 2000 through 2004, at the beginning of the Lisa Bluder/Jan Jensen coaching era. She ranks ninth all-time in scoring with 1,762 points, and is 10th in rebounds (827) and 12th in steals (190).
Baranczyk won her 100th game at Oklahoma on Saturday. She is in her fourth year in Norman after a nine-year stint at Drake.
Two Iowans — Sahara Williams (Waterloo West) and Aubrey Joens (Iowa City High) — play for the Sooners.
Iowa has won 11 of its last 14 games. OU has won 10 of 11.
