TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Arizona picked up its first-ever Big 12 road series win with an 11-4 victory over West Virginia.

The Wildcats rallied back from a 4-3 deficit with a six-run 8th inning. Shortstop Mason White hit a two-run home run to give them a 5-4 lead. That was his 33rd career home run, moving him into a tie for 7th all-time in program history.

Fellow Tucson native Andrew Cain added a two-run double, followed by a RBI double from TJ Adams.

Catcher Adonys Guzman recorded his first career multi-HR game. He got the Wildcats on the board with a solo home run in the second and outdid himself with a two-run blast in the ninth. That gave Arizona a 11-4 lead.

Arizona's bullpen combined to allow just two runs on four hits over the final 6.2 innings of the rubber match. Right-handers Tony Pluta and Casey Hintz (5-0) worked the final five frames and held the Mountaineers scoreless on just one hit. Hintz earned his fifth win of the season.

The Wildcats return to Hi Corbett Field Wednesday to host Seattle in a nonconference game. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
