Missouri State Highway Patrol investigating after inmates dies at Morgan County jail
MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)
An inmate died at the Morgan County Jail Sunday morning, according to a social media post from the Morgan County Sheriff's Office.
The post states around 9:09 a.m., a woman was found unresponsive.
Emergency crews responded but she was pronounced dead.
The woman's cell was secured and the Missouri State Highway Patrol was asked to investigate, the post says.
The Greene County Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy on Monday.
