Two men are facing charges after Louisiana State Police said they engaged online in indecent behavior with minors. 

Joseph Dore, 50, of Lafayette, and John Jones, 29, of Arkansas, were arrested last week and booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on charges of computer-aided solicitation of a minor and indecent behavior with juveniles.

Detectives with the LSP Special Victims Unit, along with the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the joint operation in March. 

"The Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit works diligently to rescue and seek justice for victims of child exploitation and human trafficking through strong partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as through public education efforts," said state police in a press release. 

The agency added, "the public plays a vital role in identifying suspects and reporting criminal or suspicious activity." To report any suspicious activity, LSP state to visit la-safe.org and fill out a form.
