Ambassador of Mongolia to the ASEAN Presents Letter of Credence

Ulaanbaatar, March 26, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Ambassador of Mongolia to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) presented his Letter of Credence to the Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on March 25, 2025.


Secretary-General Dr. Kao Kim Hourn congratulated Ambassador Enkhtaivan Dashnyam on his appointment and wished him great success in his work.


Ambassador Enkhtaivan Dashnyam emphasized the important role ASEAN plays in promoting peace, stability, and development in the Southeast Asian region and reaffirmed Mongolia’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with ASEAN and its member states and expressed Mongolia’s aspiration to become a Sectoral Dialogue Partner of ASEAN.


Mongolia acceded to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC) in 2005.
