MADISON, Wis. --- Wisconsin Softball swept Iowa in their home opener, winning 8-7, and 4-2 respectively.
The freshman, Kendra Lewis, was Wisconsin's star in game one, finishing the contest a double shy of the cycle. The Badgers overcame a three-run deficit in the seventh inning, capped off by a walk-off triple from Lewis, completing the program's largest seventh inning comeback since 2019, and their first walk-off win at Goodman Diamond since 2022.

They brought out the brooms in game two, when fellow freshman Jordan Felci tossed four and two-third innings of shutout, no-hit softball. With the sweep, Wisconsin won their 21st game of the season, already matching their win total from last year.
