Photos & Video: Women’s History Month Festival
The Women’s Resource Centre [WRC] hosted the ‘HERstory Women’s History Month Festival’ on Saturday [March 29] in St. George’s, with the celebration honouring the “contributions of Bermudian women to our history, culture, and economy through storytelling, artistic showcases, interactive workshops, and live performances.”
“As WRC continues its shift to a broader focus on prevention and community-building, events like these are fundamental,” said Juanae Crockwell, Executive Director of WRC. “Celebrating our collective contributions and heritage, while highlighting the incredible work of women in Bermuda, is a crucial part of fostering self-esteem and empowerment among women and girls.”
The event was curated by Kristin White of Long Story Short, who said, “I am so honoured to be part of this event. As a storyteller, based in the Town of St. George, I am inspired by the stories of women from history and those of my fellow female entrepreneurs.”
