Central Oregon is warming up just in time for the weekend
Temperatures today are getting back to near normal, in the mid to upper 50s, with the potential for a couple low 60s. Winds will be light and skies will be mostly clear. Lows tonight will drop down in the 20s and 30s.
If you’re going to the rodeo tonight, temperatures will be in the 50s when you arrive, but drop into the low to mid 40s by the time you’re heading out.
As a ridge of high pressure takes over, it will allow our temperatures to rise into the 60s for the weekend, some areas with the potential to tip into the low 70s. A few clouds will be moving in and out on Saturday. Clouds will increase through the second half of the day Sunday.
Our next chance for rain will be Sunday night, heading into Monday. We will see showers through Monday, that could linger into Tuesday. Good news is that the wet weather isn’t expected to last long–we’ll dry out again by Wednesday.
Have a happy Friday and a great weekend!
