INDIANA—With National EMS Week just around the corner, the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS) is calling on EMS personnel across the state to acknowledge their teammates’ hard work and dedication. Now is the perfect opportunity to ensure your colleagues receive the recognition they deserve.
The IDHS is encouraging all EMS professionals to complete a brief nomination form to shine a spotlight on an outstanding teammate during EMS Week. This simple survey provides a platform for EMS heroes to be honored and celebrated on IDHS social media channels and in official communication materials throughout the week-long observance.
To nominate a teammate, EMS personnel are asked to share why their nominee deserves recognition. Nominators are encouraged to include a specific story or anecdote from the past year that exemplifies their teammate’s exceptional service, dedication, or positive impact. Submissions should also include a photo of the nominee to accompany the recognition.
This is a fantastic opportunity to publicly acknowledge the tireless efforts, compassion, and vital contributions of the men and women who serve on the front lines of emergency medical care in Indiana. Don’t miss the chance to give your fellow EMS professionals a well-deserved shoutout during National EMS Week!
